European Recruitment Service (EURES)
If you want to work in Europe, you can access opportunities in other EU and EEA countries through the EURES portal. EURES has a network of more than 1,000 advisers who are in daily contact with employers across Europe. Contact your EURES Adviser at the Employment Service Office or Intreo Centre for more information.
Community employment (CE) is a part time employment programme to help long term unemployed to re-enter the workforce. It helps you to develop your personal and work skills.
Family Income Supplement (FIS)
Family Income Supplement is a weekly tax-free payment for employees with children who are at work on low pay.
Back to Work Family Dividend (BTWFD)
The Back to Work Family Dividend scheme aims to help families to move from social welfare into employment. It gives financial support to people with who were getting jobseeker and on-parent family payments, who take up work, increase their hours of employment or become self-employed.
