This site is provided for information purposes only. Information appearing in the pages of this site is not intended to be, nor should it be construed as and does not constitute an offer, invitation, advertisement, solicitation or recommendation by or on behalf of the Department of Social Protection (DSP), or on behalf of any other parties, to supply or purchase any product or service. The information provided is of a general nature and does not address the specific circumstances of any particular individual.

A user who registers as a jobseeker on JobsIreland agrees to share their profile information with employers who advertise vacancies on the website, staff of DSP and DSP’s JobsIreland contractor. Jobseekers can select to have their profile matched to vacancies that appear on the JobsIreland website. If a jobseeker chooses to select matching, they permit employers to view their profile where their profile has matched with the employers’ vacancies. Jobseekers may choose to keep their first name, last name, postal address, email address and telephone number private from other users by selecting the “Do not display my contact information” option on their profile.
Jobseekers may choose to share their JobsIreland CV/Profile on the European Job Mobility (EURES) Portal after agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and Data Protection Statement for jobseekers consenting to transmit their CVs/Profiles to the EURES Portal.
Employers advertise their vacancies and can choose to have them matched to registered jobseekers who have opted to share their profile with matched employers and who match with the vacancy requirements.
Employment agencies, organisations and agents, in the business of seeking, whether for reward or otherwise, on behalf of others, persons who will give or accept employment including the obtaining or supplying for reward of persons who will accept employment from or render services to others, using this website must hold a licence under the Employment Agency Act, 1971. They must have authorisation from the employer for posting vacancies and proof of this authorisation must be provided to JobsIreland on request.
Employers agree to share their profiles with DSP staff and their JobsIreland contractor. Vacancies placed on the JobsIreland.ie service will be shared with EURES, the European Job Mobility Portal. Vacancies placed on the JobsIreland.ie service may be shared with the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment for the purposes of a Labour Market Needs Test.
Employers can use the JobsIreland.ie to communicate with jobseekers who are matched to vacancies or who apply for vacancies directly through the site. Once profiles and applications are submitted to an employer, the privacy policy of that particular employer applies. The privacy policies of the individual employer are available by contacting those employers. Once jobseeker(s) and employer(s) engage in the recruitment and selection process, all responsibilities and agreements arising out of the Recruitment and Selection process are the responsibility of those parties. As a condition of use, employers are requested to advise JobsIreland when their positions have been filled. Unsuccessful applicants should be advised of the outcome of their application by employers.
DSP may use JobsIreland to email employers and jobseekers information on recruitment campaigns, information and advice.
DSP does not represent or guarantee that the information provided in this web site is accurate, up-to-date and complete. Waiver
Any waiver or failure to act with respect to any breach of these terms and conditions by you or any other user shall not constitute a general waiver of such term or condition or of any subsequent act contrary thereto and shall in no way effect our right to act with respect to that or any other breach.
Severability
If any part of these terms and conditions is found by a Court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable then such part shall be severed from the remainder of the terms and conditions which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Irish Law Applies
Employers using this website to notify vacant positions must be fully aware and compliant with the employment laws governing this country, including but not limited to the National Minimum Wage Act, the Working Time Act and the Equality Act.
