It is the time of year when many Irish people working abroad will be returning for Christmas.  With the latest monthly unemployment rate fromthe Central Statistics Office at 5.3%, will those returning home look at their local jobs market and decide to come home for good?

Many of those who left Ireland during the economic downturn will be returning with valuable work experience and skills. However, those returning will most probably find today’s Ireland a different place from the one they left.
