Returning Home for Christmas and Thinking of Coming Home for Good

It is the time of year when many working abroad will be returning Home for Christmas.  With the latest monthly unemployment rate from the Central Statistics Office at 4.8%, will those returning home this year, look at their local jobs market and decide to come home for good?

Many of those who left Ireland will be returning with valuable work experience and skills. However, those returning will most probably find today’s Ireland a different place from the one they left.

Some key areas those wishing to relocate home need to consider may include; returning with family members, housing, tax, bringing their pet, public service card, banking and health services.
