Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
We are looking for an Assistant Social Care Worker who along with a Core Support team will be responsible for the provision of quality services to women and children experiencing domestic violence. You will take day to day directions from to the Support Services Manager and work with the Ce Scheme supervisor on your development and growth This is a great opportunity to start your career in social care, working for a successful charity within the community. You will support women who have been subjected to domestic violence, listen and provide emotional support around their experiences of domestic violence. These are some of the activities you will support and take part in: • engagement with our service users • facilitation of future planning • development of support plans through sessions focused on the safety of the participant. • Care Plan Reviews. • support, assistance, and advocacy to service users around housing, health, social welfare, rights, and entitlements. • court accompaniment • development of referral links with local support services and networks. • Education of available ongoing outreach supports About you: Ideally you must have some familiarity with computers, and a willingness to learn/develop this. Are willing to participate in all training related to the position and training related to the work of the Refuge. You must be willing to work on a development plan with the CE Supervisor, who will support you in the role; help you identify training, and education needs to assist you in your role and training for future employment opportunities.
