Cleaning Operative – Healthcare | Dublin West (Dublin 10) 3Q Recruitment is currently recruiting a Cleaning Operative to support a busy healthcare facility in Dublin West (Dublin 10). This role is vital in maintaining high standards of hygiene, infection control and comfort for residents, patients and visitors. This is a frontline healthcare support role, suited to candidates with professional cleaning experience who understand the importance of attention to detail and working in regulated healthcare environments. The role will also involve occasional light Catering Assistant duties, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site. Key Responsibilities, As a Cleaning Operative, you will: Maintain high standards of cleanliness across clinical and communal areas Prepare rooms for new residents, ensuring they are clean and ready for use Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces in line with infection control guidelines Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with site procedures Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages Follow daily cleaning schedules and respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests Provide light support to catering services when required Work as part of a team to maintain a safe and well-organised healthcare environment Requirements, To be considered, you will have: 6–12 months’ experience in a professional cleaning or similar role Experience in healthcare, residential or regulated environments (advantageous) Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to cleaning tasks Knowledge of health & safety and infection control procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work across a Monday–Sunday roster, including weekends and Bank Holidays Legal right to work in Ireland and ability to complete Garda Vetting Good time management and organisational skills Pay & Benefits €17.53 per hour Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays 27 hours per week, worked across 3 days Daytime hours only, typically 8:00am–6:00pm Ongoing support from office and out-of-hours teams A role that directly supports patient care and wellbeing Opportunities for upskilling and career progression Competitive pay structure with scheduled reviews
