Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Duties include:
General maintenance
Grass cutting
Pitch lining
Painting
Cleaning 

Eligibility and Payment:
This role is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and  66 years  of age who is receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment.
Anyone over 50 years of age and signing for credits with the DSP will be entitled to full weekly payment under this scheme.

Training and Supports Provided:
Free training in a wide range of areas, including:
Sports Surface Maintenance
Horticulture
IT
CPC Modules
Trailer Licence
Funding also available towards driving lessons and the driving test.
