Monaghan, H18 YX62 Number of Vacancies: 4 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours of Work: 39 hours per week Rate of Pay: €23.00 per hour = € 46644 annual Job Description Thermaform Ltd is currently seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join its construction team on residential and commercial projects in Co. Monaghan. The successful candidates will be responsible for the construction, installation and dismantling of temporary formwork and shuttering systems used in reinforced concrete works, in accordance with engineering drawings, safety standards and site requirements. Key Duties & Responsibilities Construct, install, align and dismantle temporary formwork and shuttering systems for reinforced concrete structures, including walls, columns, slabs and foundations Assemble and position formwork accurately in line with structural drawings, formwork layouts and specifications Ensure formwork is correctly braced, supported and secured prior to concrete pours Carry out adjustments and checks to maintain dimensional accuracy and tolerances Work closely with site engineers, foremen and supervisors to ensure concrete works are executed safely and to specification Inspect formwork components and carry out basic maintenance to ensure safe reuse Comply with all construction health and safety procedures, including formwork-specific risk assessments and method statements Maintain a safe and orderly work area at all times in line with site rules and Irish HSA requirements Skills & Experience Requirements Minimum 4 years’ proven experience working as a Shuttering Carpenter on construction sites Demonstrated experience with formwork and shuttering systems for reinforced concrete works Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a site-based construction team No formal academic qualification required; trade experience is essential Further on-the-job training will be provided as required How to Apply Interested candidates should apply here
