Security Officer Salary: €70,000 DOE + Sodexo Benefits Location: Various / Site-based – Candidate must reside in the Republic of Ireland Contract: Full time, Permanent About the Role Sodexo is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment, protecting people, property, and assets while delivering a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or security breaches Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems Control access and egress for vehicles and pedestrians Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and calls for assistance Maintain accurate records, incident logs, and reports Liaise with emergency services and provide witness statements when required Enforce site policies and procedures Conduct searches where necessary and ensure site safety compliance Support conflict management and de-escalation of incidents Handle deliveries, post, and general enquiries Carry out fire safety checks and report hazards or maintenance issues About You Valid SIA licence (essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to incidents High level of attention to detail and professionalism Customer-focused approach with the ability to build relationships Physically fit and capable of patrols and manual handling tasks Flexible and reliable with a proactive attitude
