Brackley Landscape Services are seeking Horticulture General Operatives to support the delivery of commercial and residential landscaping projects through skilled horticultural and soft landscaping works, including planting, establishment, and maintenance of trees, shrubs, turf, and planted environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out soft landscaping works including planting of trees, shrubs, hedging, and ornamental plants in accordance with project specifications.
Prepare ground for planting works including soil cultivation, grading, mulching, turfing, and fertilisation.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscaped areas on commercial, residential, and public infrastructure projects.
Undertake tree planting and establishment works including staking, protection systems, irrigation setup, and aftercare maintenance.
Perform ongoing maintenance of planted areas including pruning, watering, weeding, replacement planting, and plant health care activities.
Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery such as hedge cutters, strimmers, lawnmowers, blowers, and irrigation equipment.
Load, unload, and transport plants, trees, soil, mulch, and landscaping materials to and from site locations.
Support site teams in delivering landscape construction projects including green spaces, commercial developments, and civil landscaping works.
Monitor plant health and report issues such as disease, pest damage, or site defects to supervisors
Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety legislation, environmental requirements, and company procedures.
Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in a safe, clean, and operational condition.
Work collaboratively with site supervisors, landscapers, and subcontractors to complete projects within programme timelines.

Required Experience and Skills:
Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance (preferred).
Basic understanding of plant species, soil preparation, and soft landscaping techniques.
Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and machinery.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to follow site instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Awareness of health & safety practices in construction or landscaping environments. 
Experience in commercial landscaping or large-scale development projects.
Knowledge of tree planting systems, irrigation, and plant establishment techniques.
Experience working on civil landscaping, infrastructure, or public realm projects
