The Velo Coffee Roasters production assistants are responsible for the filling, packing and building pallets of Velo coffee and performing general warehouse duties to maintain the smooth operation of the roastery. As a BRC certified roastery, we have strict quality procedures in place and require all staff to be trained in the warehouse as well as health
and safety procedures. The main place of employment is Unit 1A, Mayfield Business Park, Cork. 

Normal working hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, but shall be based on how busy the facility is. From time to time, based on our business needs, you may be requested to change your working hours or work hours in addition to the normal working hours, and your co-operation in this regard will be appreciated. Where possible any such requirement will be notified to you in advance by your immediate Manager.

Desirable Skills:
1. Organisation and attention to detail.
2. Ability to follow procedures.
3. Forklift License
4. HACCP Certification
5. Manual Handling
6. Previous experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
1. Keep production lines supplied and running smoothly.
2. Properly rotate stock to ensure shelf life.
3. General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area, as well as
duties assigned.
4. Inspect and maintain equipment if trained, reporting any faults or wear and tear.
5. Use common warehouse management software when and if required.
6. Receive incoming goods and process outgoing shipments.
