Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will handle advanced mechanical repairs and structural work, moving beyond routine maintenance to tackle complex diagnostics and full component/frame replacements. The ideal candidate will combine elite technical expertise with a continuous improvement mindset, utilising Lean techniques to optimise workshop efficiency while strictly adhering to manufacturer and safety standards. Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults with precision, ensuring a high standard of workmanship. Apply lean techniques to improve efficiency and streamline mechanical repair processes. Maintain and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality of repairs. Ensure all repairs are completed in full compliance with vehicle manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Requirements Qualified Mechanic (A Must) Main dealer experience essential Proven mechanical experience in an automotive or similar technical environment. Strong hands-on skills in mechanical repairs, including dismantling, fitting, and assembly of components. Experience working with diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and technical manuals. Familiarity with lean methodologies and process-driven environments is advantageous. self-motivated and capable of leading by example in achieving repair efficiency and quality targets. Must have own tools (Tool Purchase Scheme available after 6 months). Full valid driving licence required. Skills Mechanical aptitude with strong fault-finding and repair capabilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all mechanical tasks. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to share knowledge and support colleagues.
