Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

To assist in the development and delivery of a quality after-school service:-
To work within the overall aims and objectives of the Crèche
To assist the crèche team in a day to day operation of the crèche
To provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children attending the crèche
To contribute and assist in the planning and implementing of programs for the children 
To adhere to and implement the project procedures and policies pertaining to the health, safety and welfare of the children 
To obtain proper record keeping procedures 
To work as part of the team 
To undertake other tasks as may be reasonably assigned from time to time by the manager 
To work under the supervision and direction of the Manager of the creche
