Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Ireland First Evening Day Centre is currently seeking a reliable and community-focused Bus Driver to join our team  the oommunity Employment (CE) scheme. hrs  2.30p.m to 9.30p.m

Role Overview:  
As a CE Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users by providing safe, friendly, and punctual transport to and from the centre. You will be an important part of creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all members of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport service users to and from the centre  
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, roadworthy, and maintained  
- Assist passengers as needed, ensuring comfort and safety  
- Follow all road safety and organisational guidelines  
- Work as part of a supportive and caring team  
Requirements:
- Full clean driving licence (D1 or D category preferred)  
- Good communication and interpersonal skills  
- A patient, friendly, and dependable manner  
- Commitment to community service and inclusion
