Based in Drogheda and operating services across Louth, Meath and Longford, we support people to live full, independent lives in their own homes and communities. We are growing, and we're looking for caring, reliable people to grow with us. The Role As a Home Support Worker, you will support adults with disabilities and mental health needs in residential and community settings. Your day-to-day work will include: Supporting service users with personal care, daily living skills and household routines Promoting independence, choice and community inclusion in line with each person's individual support plan Supporting people to attend appointments, activities and social outings Administering medication in line with policy and training Keeping clear, accurate records and reporting concerns promptly Working as part of a supportive team on a structured roster, including some evenings, weekends and sleepovers/waking nights as required What You Will Need Full driving licence – essential. You will be driving service users to appointments and activities, so a full clean licence and willingness to drive company or service vehicles is a must. Willingness to complete QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or Disability Studies. If you do not already hold it, we will support you to complete it – you'll be expected to make progress on your modules during your first year with us. Experience in disability, mental health, healthcare or social care is an advantage – but attitude matters most. We welcome applications from people new to the sector who share our values.
