Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

•	Assist the Development Officer with the Youth Programme: research of   
        programmes for the youth.
•	Run agreed activities for youth in conjunction with Management & volunteers.
•	Undertake administration and recording of the day-to-day programmes as
        directed by the Development Officer.
•	Assist with written weekly reports on attendance and fees. 
•	Develop a volunteer list for assisting with youth programmes.
•	Keep records of any accidents or incidences within the programmes.
•	Adhere to policies and procedures of Health and Safety of youth work as laid 
         out by the board of management.
