Company Description Parslickstown House Management CLG operates Parslickstown House, a vibrant community centre dedicated to fostering growth, creativity, and connection. Located in a welcoming environment, the centre offers diverse programs, workshops, and events that support learning, wellness, and personal development. It also hosts a popular community café that provides a friendly setting for socializing or enjoying quiet time. In addition, Parslickstown House offers flexible space rentals for workshops, meetings, and special events, making it a hub for local community activity. Team members join a supportive environment where community engagement and collaboration are central to daily work. Role Description: Cook – 20 Hours per Week Parslickstown Community Centre is looking for an enthusiastic Cook to join its Community Café team for 20 hours per week over 4 days. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys preparing fresh food and contributing to a welcoming community environment. You will work alongside a friendly and supportive team, helping to provide a positive experience for everyone who visits the café. We're looking for someone who: • Has previous kitchen or food preparation experience (preferred but not essential). • Enjoys preparing fresh, high-quality food. • Works well as part of a team. • Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn. • Is reliable, organised, and able to work in a busy environment. • Enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. • Is authorised to work in Ireland.
