Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

This Community Employment position is part of the team that looks after the upkeep of the village.  They will gain experience of outside maintenance and landscaping around the village.  Duties will include grass cutting, strimming, weeding of flower and shrub beds and all other associated duties required for Tidy Towns such as keeping all public areas litter free and generally keeping the village looking its best.
