Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

This is a great opportunity to become a qualified Childcare Assistant. You will work in close co-operation with the Childcare Co-Ordinator Senior Years Practitioners and other staff to guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment.
You should be child focused and have a very good understanding of individual needs.
You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team with a wiliness to engage in Childcare Early Years Accredited QQI Level 5 and QQI Level 6 training and professional development.
All positions are based in the greater Dublin 15 area and you must be available to work mornings and/or afternoons
