Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
• General centre cleaning — cleaning activity rooms, drop in spaces, offices, and hallways. • Youth activity room upkeep — tidying after group sessions, wiping mats, tables, games equipment, and ensuring safe, hygienic spaces. • Restroom maintenance — cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors, replenishing supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards. • Kitchen/tea station cleaning — cleaning counters, appliances, sinks, unloading the dishwasher, and ensuring safe food prep areas used by staff and young people. • Surface sanitisation — wiping high touch areas such as door handles, railings, desks, and shared equipment. • Waste management — emptying bins, recycling, and ensuring proper disposal of waste from youth activities. • Outdoor access cleaning — sweeping entrances, removing litter, and keeping pathways safe. • Event and programme support — assisting with room setup for workshops, group sessions, or community events. • Reporting issues — notifying supervisors of hazards, repairs needed, or supply shortages.
