Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

We have vacancies on our community employment scheme for a project support worker within our Drugs and Alcohol Programme.  No qualification necessary, lots of training and support will be offered - must be willing to engage with formal and non formal education and/or training opportunities that will enhance their potential to develop.

Duties Include;
- Supporting staff in planning, prepping and executing of programmes within the centre.
- Facilitate group work with young people.
- Ensure activities and work areas are safe.
- Preparing food and drinks for programmes.
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed.
