Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

The person would be working in an environment with venerable adults with disabilities.
Confidentiality.
Supervision with Line Manager or Programme Supervision.
Communication.
Linking in with contractors/ plumbers/electricians along with the Manager.
General cleaning of the building- sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, changing of handtowels, toilet papers, hand sanitizer, emptying of bins general tidying of building.
Working across RehabCare, National Learning Network & Supported Accommodation.
Attending RehabCare's essential training
Being comfortable in the working environment of adults with disabilities.
Using your own initiative
Being self-motivated
Having some disability awareness would be an advantage.
