MTS Metal Turning Services Limited is seeking skilled Metal Welders to join the team. The role involves carrying out high quality welding and fabrication according to engineering drawings and project specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform MIG, MAG, TIG and/or ARC welding as required for the role.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.

· Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components and structures accurately.

· Set up and operate welding equipment, tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.

· Select appropriate welding techniques, materials, and consumables for each job.

· Inspect welded joints and finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.

· Carry out grinding, cutting, drilling, and other preparation work as required.

· Identify welding defects and carry out necessary repairs or adjustments.

· Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in good working condition.

· Follow company procedures relating to quality, health and safety, and environmental standards.

· Work effectively as part of the engineering and production team.


Qualifications & Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Welder, preferably within an engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environment.

· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and welding specifications.

· Good knowledge of welding processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.

· Ability to produce clean, strong, and accurate welds.

· Experience working with materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminium is desirable.

· Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

· Relevant welding qualification or certification is desirable.
