Deaf Village Ireland (DVI) is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and committed CE Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operation of its Community Employment Scheme in Cabra, Dublin.
The successful candidate will support CE participants in developing skills, gaining qualifications, building confidence and progressing towards future employment and personal development. The role includes supervising participants, developing Individual Learning Plans, identifying training needs, organising work placements and monitoring progress.
The CE Supervisor will also maintain accurate participant, attendance, training and financial records; manage allowances, claims and financial returns; and ensure compliance with CE procedures and governance requirements. The role involves regular communication with the Department of Social Protection, DVI management, staff, participants and external organisations.
Strong organisational, administrative, ICT, communication and financial administration skills are required, along with the ability to manage confidential information, competing priorities and deadlines. Approximately three years’ managerial, supervisory or team leadership experience is required. Experience in CE, education, training, community development or employment support is desirable. QQI Level 6 in a relevant area is advantageous.
Fluency in Irish Sign Language (ISL) is essential. The ideal candidate will be supportive, approachable, organised and committed to equality, inclusion and the development of the Deaf community.
