The Role We are now seeking a full time General Operative, to support the efficient operation of the production facility by ensuring products are correctly labelled, quality standards are maintained, food safety requirements are adhered to, and traceability processes are followed. The role also supports the smooth flow of production activities across the factory floor, helping to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities • Carry out label checks to ensure all products are correctly labelled and comply with customer and legal requirements. • Print and prepare labels for daily production requirements • Monitor products and process to identify and report any quality concerns or non conformances • Support the implementation and maintenance of food and safety procedures in line with HACCP standards. • Assist in ensuring production areas meet hygiene and housekeeping standards at all times. • Assist with stock rotation and product identification requirements. • Assist in maintaining an efficient flow of products throughout the factory. • Work closely with production teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. • Help minimise downtime by identifying and communicating operational issues promptly. • Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures • Report accidents, near misses hazards or unsafe practices Key Competencies & Experience • Previous experience in a good production, manufacturing or warehouse environment is desirable. • Understanding of food safety and quality standards is advantageous • Good attention to detail, particularly when checking labels and production documentation. • Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Flexible approach to duties and working hours.
