We are seeking an operational and analytical Retail Operations & Business Data
Manager to oversee day-to-day store management. This role bridges store leadership,
compliance, and administrative reporting with advanced business data analysis. The
successful candidate will manage store operations, workforce supervision, supply
chain coordination, and financial administration, using data analytics, EPOS platforms,
and quantitative modeling to improve sales, reduce shrinkage, optimize inventory turn,
and support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Extract, clean, and process transactional data from POS, inventory, and retail
databases.

Design and update daily, weekly, and monthly operational dashboards and KPI
reports using MS Excel, SQL, and BI tools.

Perform quantitative demand forecasting using sales history, footfall, promotional
plans, and seasonal trends to optimize stock levels.

Conduct variance analysis comparing store performance against forecasts,
financial budgets, and historical metrics.

Analyze category gross margins, basket composition, and purchasing behaviors to
recommend pricing, markdowns, and promotional placement.

Oversee administrative paperwork, including financial reporting, cash
reconciliation, invoice audits, supplier verification, and operational logs.

Manage compliance documentation for Food Safety (HACCP), Health & Safety,
consumer laws, and internal audits.

Audit stock loss, waste, and shrinkage discrepancies between physical inventory
and database records to implement cost controls.

Prepare operational summaries, cost-benefit reports, and strategic insights for
store directors.

Manage floor operations, customer service standards, supplier delivery schedules,
and stock rotation across fresh food and grocery departments.

Supervise, train, and manage floor staff, assisting with recruitment, on-boarding,
task delegation, and performance evaluations.

Analyze footfall traffic, sales volumes, and labor productivity metrics to construct
optimized staff rosters and manage labor budgets
