Job Title: Metal Fabricator / TIG Welder Employer: Rosborough Bros. Ltd T/A Quality Manufacturing Co. Location: Unit 11 Oatlands, Belgooly, Co. Cork, P17CV67 Salary: €20 per hour / €40,560 per year Hours: 39h per week Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly and TIG welding of metal components in accordance with technical drawings, specifications and required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings and technical specifications. Measure, mark out, cut and prepare metal components for fabrication and welding. Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, selecting the appropriate welding parameters and shielding gas. Perform TIG welding on metal components and assemblies to the required quality standards. Fit, align and assemble metal parts prior to welding. Grind, clean and finish welded joints and fabricated components. Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for defects, accuracy and conformity with specifications. Carry out corrective work where required. Maintain welding and fabrication equipment in good working condition. Follow all company quality, health and safety procedures. Requirements: Proven experience as a TIG Welder, Metal Fabricator, Fabricator-Welder or similar role. Strong practical experience in TIG welding and metal fabrication. Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings. Experience in measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling metal components. Good knowledge of welding equipment, shielding gases and fabrication techniques. Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
