Aureol Global Connections is hiring for Steel Fixers on behalf of FLI Precast Solutions Limited of Kilnock, Ballon Carlow, Ireland R93 E129. The ideal candidate will have experience in steel fixing, construction, or manufacturing environments and will be confident working with reinforcement steel, mesh, and related materials. The role involves reading and interpreting construction and engineering drawings, setting out work areas, identifying required materials, and using hand and power tools to cut, bend, position, and secure steel reinforcement. Duties include laying out and installing steel bars, mesh, rods, and framework, fitting spacers and supports, hoisting reinforcement into place, and joining rebar, footings, and girders using welding, clips, or wire. The successful candidate will assist in the production of reinforced concrete products by fixing steel bars and mesh to concrete bases and constructing reinforcement cages and casts that support concrete during the setting process. Candidates should have attention to detail, a commitment to health and safety standards, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience reading manufacturing or construction drawings and previous steel fixing or manufacturing experience would be a distinct advantage. A positive attitude, willingness to learn from senior team members, flexibility to support other areas of the factory when required, and a proven record of reliability, attendance, and timekeeping are essential.
