Job Title: Residential Child Care Worker
Annual salary: €37,500- €39500
Working hours: 40 hours per week 
Job Location: Leighlinbridge Co.Carlow. 

Eden Social Care is a children’s residential provider opening a therapeutic home for young people aged 6–12 in Carlow. From the outset, this service has been designed with one guiding principle: safe, consistent relationships are the foundation of effective care, for young people and for staff. We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers who want to be part of building a high-quality service, with strong governance, reflective practice, and staff wellbeing embedded into daily operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 
●Provide day-to-day care and therapeutic support to children and young people in residential care. 
●Deliver child-centred, trauma-informed care. 
●Support individual care plans and promote children's education, wellbeing and life skills. 
●Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. 
●Work a rota that may include evenings, weekends, sleepovers and waking night shifts. 
●Carry out other reasonable duties associated with the role. 

Essential Requirements 
●Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline (or another qualification recognized as suitable for the role). 
●Relevant post-qualification experience working with children and young people in a social care or residential setting. 
●Experience supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs. 
●Strong communication and teamwork skills.
