Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

What You Will Be Doing:
Helping with food preparation and general back-of-house duties.
Supporting the crêpe unit during busy events and catering services.
Keeping work areas, equipment and utensils spotlessly clean and organised.
Washing up and maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout service.
Helping with stock, ingredients and general setup/pack-down.
Working closely with the team to keep service running smoothly.
Helping wherever needed — no two events are exactly the same

Has a keen eye for cleanliness, organisation and detail
Is reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in.
Can stay calm and positive when things get busy.
Takes pride in their work and has a good work ethic.
Is friendly, approachable and works well as part of a small team.
Previous catering or kitchen experience is a bonus, but attitude and reliability are just as important.
Beneficial: Has own method of transportation.
