Bolands Motor Group is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team at New Road, Clondalkin, Dublin, D22 PY56. This is a full-time permanent position.
Salary: €45,000 - €54,000
40-hour work week
Duties include and are not limited to:
Service, maintain and repair Opel passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
Complete scheduled maintenance programmes in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
Perform repairs to engines, transmissions, clutches, suspension, steering and braking systems.
Carry out advanced fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment.
Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
Perform pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
Prepare vehicles for NCT and roadworthiness testing and complete any required repairs.
Complete workshop documentation and job cards accurately.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
Work collaboratively with service advisors and workshop management to maintain productivity and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Qualified Motor Technician, Automotive Technician or equivalent trade qualification.
Minimum 3 years’ workshop experience.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience working on petrol and diesel vehicles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team.
Full clean driving licence.
Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
