Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Responsible to: Early Years Service Manager
Job Purpose: To assist in the safe operation of the service. He/She will be required to undertake general maintenance duties in the service and in the outdoor area of the premises, including removing litter, sweeping, weeding; minor repairs as they come up; painting interior walls or wooden items of equipment and any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

This position is subject to Garda Vetting, including international police clearance where necessary, and reference check.
