Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Support the Childcare Professional team in the daily activities of the Early years facility including room set up prior to each session, preparation of all areas to ensure the safety and well being of all children, assisting in feeding while acquiring skills in FSM, assisting with the maintaining of a high standard of hygiene in line with industry norms, reporting any damage to equipment and ensuring that equipment is cleaned and in a safe state and place for use by children, The suitable candidate will also be required to advise the room leader of any matters of concern regarding any child. Must be willing to participate in QQI level 5 Major Award in Early Years Education. An keen interest in the field of Childcare is desirable.
