Aureol Global Connections is hiring for Electricians on behalf of J. Grennan & Sons Unlimited Company, Rath, Birr, Offaly, Ireland R42 YA49. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on feed mill machinery and equipment to support the safe and efficient operation of a busy animal feed manufacturing facility. The role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance on motors, conveyors, augers, bucket elevators, mixers, grinders, pellet presses, and other production equipment, as well as fault-finding on electrical control panels, sensors, relays, contactors, and safety circuits. The Electrician will install, test, and commission new electrical equipment, work with three-phase motors, Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), soft starters, and motor control systems, and assist with PLC fault finding where required. Candidates should be qualified electricians with experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, capable of reading electrical drawings and schematics, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and working closely with production teams to minimise downtime. Experience within feed milling, food production, or manufacturing environments would be advantageous, along with a practical approach to troubleshooting and maintaining plant reliability and efficiency while ensuring compliance with all electrical and health and safety requirements. This is a full-time role of 39 hours per week with an annual salary range of €40,000-€42,000. Interested applicants should send their CV to info@aureolglobalconnections.com.
