We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Home Care Personal Assistants to support individuals in living independently and safely within their own homes. As a Home Care Personal Assistant, you will provide person-centred care tailored to each client's individual needs while promoting dignity, respect, independence, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe moving and handling.
Support clients with medication reminders in accordance with care plans.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding where required.
Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, social activities, and community outings.
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce social isolation.
Assist with daily living activities while encouraging independence and choice.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or wellbeing to the Care Coordinator or Clinical Team.
Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, infection prevention, and confidentiality policies.
Essential Requirements
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (Care Skills and Care of the Older Person) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the qualification.

Desirable:
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Manual Handling and Patient Moving & Handling training.
First Aid certification.
Experience supporting older adults or individuals with disabilities.
Previous experience in home care, healthcare, disability support, or personal assistance is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Garda Vetting (or willingness to undergo vetting).
Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Advanced/Higher Certificate (preferred)
