•Job Title: Dairy Farm Assistant
BG Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of Alan Glynn for a dairy farm assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a milking herd, morning & evening milking, herd nutrition, herd health, calving, pasture management, operating machinery, administrative tasks.
Responsibilities: 
•	Carry out morning and evening milking as scheduled.
•	Maintain and clean milking equipment. 
•	Plan feeding schedules and feed all livestock.
•	Monitor grass growth, rotate paddocks, and spread fertiliser.
•	Monitor herd health, assist with calving, and coordinate with veterinarians.
•	Operate machinery as required for feeding, maintenance, pasture management.
•Keep records as required and follow safety guidelines. 
•Requirements: Qualifications/Certificates related to the role are required 
•Salary: €36,605
•Hours per week: 39
•Location: Jenal, Back Moone, Athy, Co. Kildare
