A permanent position has become available in the Quality department for a QC Inspector who will work as part of the QC Team as per the job spec below with an immediate start.
1.	Carry out in-process QC checks on printed product, including using an Eye C proofiler. 

2.	Final QA Release on all Pharma jobs plus other customers requiring certs of conformances & ”problem” jobs as directed by QA Manager.

3.	Log internal non-conformances and issue to department responsible and participate in the investigation process.

4.	Carry out weekly spot checks and internal audits.

5.	Verify and process product revisions.

6.	Buddy check pharma orders & approve new pharma art works when required.

7.	Help out investigating quality issues and take part in quality improvement projects. 

You will be on alternating shift hours as follows:  
Week 1 Monday to Thursday 6.00 am to 2.30 pm, Friday 6.00am to 3:30pm  
Week 2 Monday to Thursday 2.30 pm to 11.00 pm, with 30 minutes for lunch each day and 
Average weekly hours over 2 weeks shift pattern = 39 hours

Please ensure you have your own transport or are you on a bus route to meet the early start and late finish.

Salary offered: €36,605 based on candidate qualifications and experience.

Candidate’s must: 
•	Be fluent in English 
•	Be available to start immediately
•	Have a third level qualification in Engineering or Science or a minimum of 2 yrs relevant industry experience in a QC Role. Full industry training will be provided for the successful candidate.
•	Have a good working knowledge of MS word and excel
•	Good levels of attention to detail are required at all times
•	Diligent, reliable and good reporting skills.

Experience working in a GMP environment would also be an advantage.
