JOB DESCRIPTION

Clonee Inns Limited is seeking to recruit two experienced Chef de Parties to join the professional kitchen team at The Grasshopper Inn, Clonee, a busy pub and restaurant. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s recipes and standards; managing an assigned kitchen section; completing daily mise en place; maintaining consistent standards of food quality, presentation and portion control; assisting with stock control, food storage and stock rotation; minimising food waste; supporting senior chefs and junior kitchen staff; and maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment. Candidates will be required to comply with all HACCP, food hygiene, allergen management, food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a busy professional restaurant, hotel, gastro-pub or similar commercial kitchen environment. Candidates should have strong food preparation and cooking skills, good knowledge of professional kitchen operations, the ability to manage their assigned section during busy service periods, and the ability to work effectively as part of a kitchen team.
