Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

We are recruiting a Café Worker for a Community Employment position within our Social Enterprise Café. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in hospitality, customer service, food preparation, and café operations while receiving accredited training, practical work experience, and ongoing support.
The programme is particularly suited to individuals who are ready to build confidence, develop new skills, and progress towards long-term employment in the hospitality and customer service sectors. 

Key Duties
Preparing and serving tea, coffee, and light refreshments
Providing excellent customer service to café visitors
Assisting with food preparation and presentation
Operating the till and handling transactions
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
Restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
Supporting the day-to-day running of the café
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
No experience necessary
Full training provided
