Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Cleaning Duties:
General cleaning of Cornerstone office building and other Cornerstone premises.
Cleaning duties include cleaning toilets, washing floors, cleaning public/staff areas, vacuuming carpets, dusting, polishing, cleaning windows and other cleaning-related duties.
To carry out a stock take of the cleaning materials on a regular basis. 
Other duties:
To be familiar with, adhere to and work within Cornerstone Policies and Procedures.
Responsible for carrying out duties in a professional manner.
Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times. 
To be flexible and prioritise workload accordingly.
To allocate and manage time efficiently.
To adhere to all Health & Safety Regulations as per the organisations Health & Safety Statement and the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act, 2005.
To attend and participate in Supervision, Departmental Meetings, Staff Meetings etc as required
To attend as required all Community Employment related workshops/programmes of training/seminars/workshops as directed by DSP.
To be flexible in relation to hours of attendance in order to meet the needs of the project. 
To have a flexible approach to work in response to organisational change, development and review of best practice. 
To carry out any other duties allocated by your line manager.
