Risk and Compliance Manager Employer: DARE Security Location: Self Storage Centre, Kylemore Road, Dublin 10, Eircode: D10 K729 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: €36,605 per annum Vacancies: 1 DARE Security, a professional security services provider delivering risk management, compliance, and protective solutions across Ireland, is seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to lead and oversee the company’s risk, regulatory, and compliance framework. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement and continuously improve the company’s risk management and compliance policies, procedures and controls. • Monitor and ensure full compliance with relevant Irish and EU legislation, including data protection (GDPR), health & safety, employment law, and sectorspecific security regulations. • Conduct regular risk assessments, internal audits and compliance reviews across operations, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions. • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, risk registers, incident reports and audit findings. • Provide training and guidance to staff on risk awareness, compliance obligations and company policies. • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, external auditors and internal stakeholders on risk and compliance matters. • Prepare clear reports for senior management on risk exposure, compliance status and recommended improvements. Essential Skills and Qualifications • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a risk, compliance, governance or audit role, ideally within the security, facilities, or regulated services sector. • Strong working knowledge of Irish and EU regulatory requirements relevant to security and business operations (including GDPR and health & safety legislation). • Proven ability to develop and maintain risk registers, compliance frameworks and audit processes. • Excellent organisational, analytical and report-writing skills, with attention to detail. • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and influence positive compliance behaviour. Desirable Skills • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial compliance role. • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. risk management, compliance, GDPR practitioner, or equivalent). • Full clean driving licence. • Experience working within the private security industry or a regulated environment.
