To assemble, install, maintain, test, repair and troubleshoot agricultural machinery and precision spreading equipment manufactured by AgriSpread. The role involves working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electro-mechanical systems to ensure machinery is built and maintained to the highest quality and safety standards.
Assemble agricultural machinery and sub-assemblies from engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.

Fit and install mechanical components including:
Conveyors and floor chains
Gearboxes and driveline systems
Axles, wheel hubs and braking systems
Bearings, shafts, rollers and transmission components
Spreading discs and vertical beater assemblies
Install and commission hydraulic systems including pumps, motors, valves, cylinders and hoses.
Fit pneumatic and electrical control components used in precision spreading equipment.
Perform alignment, calibration and testing of machinery prior to dispatch.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and operational faults.
Repair, replace and overhaul worn or defective components.
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and finished machinery.
Interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings and technical manuals.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Conduct quality inspections during assembly and final testing stages.
Work with fabrication, welding and assembly teams to ensure efficient production.
Maintain accurate maintenance and production records.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements at all times.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives relating to manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Minimum 2 years' relevant experience as:
Industrial Machine Fitter
Mechanical Fitter
Maintenance Fitter
Agricultural Machinery Fitter
Manufacturing Equipment Technician
