Production Manager Employer: Limerick Polymers Production (LPP) Location: Galvone Industrial Estate, Roxboro, Limerick, V94 XC61 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: €36,605 per annum Vacancies: 1 Limerick Polymers Production (LPP) is a manufacturing company operating an industrial polymer processing plant in Limerick. We manufacture recycled polymer materials from specified plastic feedstocks for supply to industrial and packaging customers. We are recruiting a Production Manager – Manufacturing to plan, organise, direct and control day-to-day manufacturing operations at the plant. Description of the employment The Production Manager – Manufacturing will: Plan, organise and direct manufacturing activity across production lines, including industrial sorting, separation, baling and processing of polymer materials (PET, PP, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE and multilayer films) used as manufacturing feedstock Set and control production schedules, output targets, cycle times and plant capacity Maintain manufacturing quality standards and material specifications (target purity greater than 98%) Direct production resources, plant equipment and process controls to meet customer orders on time and to specification Control manufacturing costs, stock of raw materials and finished goods, yield and operational efficiency Ensure production activity complies with applicable health and safety, quality and environmental standards applying to a manufacturing plant Lead, train and supervise the manufacturing production team Report on production performance, downtime, quality and cost to senior management Person specification Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Production Manager or equivalent manufacturing production management role, ideally in polymer processing, plastics manufacturing or a related process-manufacturing environment Demonstrable knowledge of industrial polymer processing operations, production planning and quality standards for manufactured polymer materials Proven ability to lead a production team in a manufacturing plant Commercial awareness with a focus on productivity, yield, cost control and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes Ability to work the contracted 39-hour week and, when required by production schedules, flexible patterns including weekends How to apply Please send your CV to mike@lpp.ie
