Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Hours:
Afternoons and evenings - With flexibility.

Youth worker assistant required for St Monica’s Youth Resource Centre.

Assisting youth leaders in the planning and facilitation of the after-school programme for young people aged 11 – 16 years old. Three afternoons per week.

Assisting with club night group activities one evening per week and outdoor activities from time to time.
Good communication skills are required while providing a welcoming and supportive environment.

Job related training will be provided for the opportunity to up-skill in this area. Applicants must meet CE scheme eligibility.
