We are currently recruiting a compassionate, reliable and professional Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Ireland.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
Support clients with mobility and daily living activities.
Assist with meals and hydration where required.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow individual care plans and report any changes in a client's condition.
Maintain accurate care records.
Follow infection prevention, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
Treat all clients with dignity, respect and confidentiality.
Work effectively with nurses, carers, families and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification, or equivalent
Previous experience in healthcare, elderly care, disability care or home care is preferred
Good spoken and written English.
Compassionate, patient and dependable.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work [days / evenings / weekends / nights].
Garda Vetting will be required.
