Armature Rewinder

Employer: Bandon Rewinds Ltd
Location: Unit 9, Cloughmacsimon Industrial Park, Bandon, Co. Cork, P72 W528
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 39 per week
Minimum annual remuneration: €42,000

Bandon Rewinds Ltd seeks an Armature Rewinder to rewind and repair AC/DC electric motors, armatures, stators, rotors, generators and related electro-mechanical equipment in our Bandon workshop.

Duties: strip and assess failed units; remove old windings; insulate cores; wind and connect new coils; reassemble and test motors; keep job and test records; follow health and safety rules; support emergency rewind work when required.

Essential: proven experience as an armature / electric motor rewinder; knowledge of AC and DC windings; use of workshop tools and electrical test equipment; good English; right to work in Ireland or eligibility for a General Employment Permit for this role.

Desirable: 2–3 years’ workshop experience; work on large or custom industrial motors.
