Job Title: Horticultural Worker Employer: Erin Cash And Dermot Robinson (Robinson Farm) Location: Robinson Farm, Parkmore, Templemartin, Bandon, Co. Cork P72 E177 Hours: 39 hours per week (full-time) Salary: €33,000 per annum (basic pay), equivalent to €16.27 per hour Career Level: Introductory/Elementary About the role: Robinson Farm is a market garden producing vegetables year-round for two farmers’ markets in Cork City and Macroom. We are seeking a full-time hands-on Horticultural Worker to join our team. This is an elementary level role and requires no previous experience. Key duties and responsibilities include: Picking and harvesting seasonal vegetables Picking and harvesting fruit Washing and packing harvested vegetable and fruit produce Lifting and carrying heavy vegetable and fruit produce boxes Carrying out routine manual care and maintenance of vegetable growing areas, including weeding and watering Required qualifications and experience: No formal academic qualifications required No previous experience required Full training will be provided on the job Skills and attributes: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Physical fitness for basic horticultural work (lifting up to 20kg, bending and kneeling for extended periods) Positive attitude and genuine interest in local food and sustainable agriculture
