Are you interested in becoming a Vehicle Body Repairer?

The work of a Vehicle Body Repairer involves the repairing of damage to the bodywork of cars, trucks and coaches, ranging from scratches, dents and rust to major accident damage.

Masonbrook Motors are looking to hire an apprentice Vehicle Body Repairer. This is an opportunity to join an exciting, dynamic and fast-paced Industry.

The overall duration of this apprenticeship is a minimum of 4 years provided all 7 phases are successfully completed. On successful completion of the programme, the learner is awarded a Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Vehicle Body Repairs. Although the minimum educational requirements for an apprenticeship is a Grade D in five subjects in the Department of Educational & Skills Junior Certificate Examination or approved equivalent - some employers may require applicants to have successfully completed their education to Leaving Certificate level.

It should also be noted that while not essential, it may be an advantage to have previous experience of the following subjects: Mathematics, Technical Drawing/Graphics, Metalwork, Technology and Physics.
