Randle Bros Ltd are looking to hire an apprentice - Automotive Technician. This is an opportunity to join an exciting, dynamic and fast-paced Industry.  An Automotive Technician is a skilled technician who services, diagnoses and resolves technical concerns with light passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The overall duration of this apprenticeship is a minimum of 4 years provided all 7 phases are successfully completed. On successful completion of the programme, the learner is awarded a Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Automotive Technician. Although the minimum education requirements for an apprenticeship are Grade D in five subjects in the Department of Educational & Skills Junior Certificate Examination or approved equivalent - some employers may require applicants to have successfully completed their education to Leaving Certificate level. It should also be noted that while not essential, it may be an advantage to have previous experience of the following subjects: Mathematics, Technical Drawing/Graphics, Metalwork, Technology and Physics.
