Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

The Model is currently seeking applications for the position of Exhibitions Assistant. The role involves assisting the curatorial team to deliver the exhibition programme; supporting the management of The Niland Collection; researching, developing and delivering exhibition tours; providing information on the visual art programme to front of house staff and volunteers; as well as day-to-day administration of the visual art department.

A strong interest in visual art, good written and verbal communication skills, numeric and computer skills, and an enjoyment of working with the public are essential. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to prioritise within a team environment, has a responsible, flexible and conscientious attitude and values attention to detail. While previous experience is an asset, this is an entry level position and training will be provided.

*This position is offered under the Department of Social Protection Community Employment Scheme and the standard working week is 19.5 hours.
